CONNECTED SMP EVENTS BOT - PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how the Connected SMP Events Discord
bot (the "Bot"), operated by Zonquix ("Operator," "we,"
"us"), collects, uses, and stores information. By using the Bot, you
agree to this policy. It supplements, and is limited by, Discord's
Privacy Policy: https://discord.com/privacy

1. DATA WE COLLECT AND STORE

The Bot stores only the following information, all tied to servers
(guilds), not individuals:

- Server (guild) IDs - used to target announcements, enforce size
  limits and cooldowns, and manage the whitelist. Stored in a local
  configuration file on the Operator's machine.
- Announcement channel IDs - used to deliver announcements to the
  channel chosen by server admins. Stored in a local configuration
  file on the Operator's machine.
- Cooldown timestamps per server - used to enforce the announcement
  cooldown. Stored in a local configuration file on the Operator's
  machine.

2. DATA PROCESSED BUT NOT STORED

The following is used temporarily while a command runs and is not
saved by the Bot:

- Announcement content (event message, server IP) - forwarded to the
  target server's channel and then discarded
- Announcer's display name and avatar - shown in the announcement
  footer, not stored
- Server names and member counts - read from Discord to enforce
  limits, never written to disk

3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

- No personal information (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses)
- No message history or message logging
- No user IDs stored on disk
- No analytics, tracking, or telemetry
- No cookies or advertising identifiers

4. WHERE DATA IS STORED

All data is stored locally on a privately owned machine operated by
us. It is not uploaded to any cloud service, database provider, or
third-party platform, and it is never sold, rented, or shared with
anyone.

5. THIRD PARTIES

- Discord: All Bot functionality runs through Discord. Content you
  submit via commands (messages, IPs) is transmitted through and
  displayed on Discord, and is subject to Discord's own privacy
  practices.
- No other third parties receive any data from the Bot.

6. RETENTION AND DELETION

- Server data (guild ID, channel ID, cooldown) is kept only for as
  long as the Bot remains in your server and is needed to function.
- When the Bot is removed from a server, that server's stored data
  (channel ID, cooldown) is deleted automatically.
- You can also request deletion of your server's stored data at any
  time by contacting us (Section 10). We will delete the relevant
  records promptly.
- There is no user-level data to delete, since none is stored.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction (including rights under GDPR, UK
GDPR, or CCPA where applicable), you may have the right to access,
correct, or delete data relating to you or your server. Since the
Bot stores only server-level data, these requests are simple:
contact us and we will confirm what is stored and delete it on
request.

8. CHILDREN

The Bot is intended for server administrators and follows Discord's
minimum age requirements (13+, or higher where local law requires).
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone in a manner that
conflicts with Discord's policies.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy if the Bot's features change. Material
changes will be reflected in the Last updated date above.
